On 26 September 2025, at its plant in Via Bormioli in Brescia, Emer celebrated an important milestone: its 50th anniversary. Half a century of history and innovation has seen the company, founded in 1975 by the Gobbi family in Collebeato and now part of the Westport Fuel Systems Group, become first a benchmark in the field of valves for methane and LPG applications and then an international player in the OEM sector.
To celebrate this anniversary, the Brescia headquarters opened its doors with an open day dedicated to employees, their families, the founders and the Group's management. It was a special occasion to look back on the most significant moments in the company's growth and to look forward to the future with enthusiasm.
From its move to new premises in 2007 to its first OEM projects developed in the early 2000s with brands such as Fiat and Iveco, Emer has distinguished itself in the global market, consolidating its presence in both the aftermarket and OEM sectors for natural gas vehicles.
Its entry into Westport Fuel Systems in 2011 gave further impetus to technological development, strengthening its ability to innovate and respond to new challenges in the energy sector.
The fiftieth anniversary is not only a time for celebration, but also an opportunity to confirm Emer and the Group's commitment to continuing to invest in sustainable solutions, in the name of quality and innovation.
